RAVENFACE/FLEETWOOD/31.10.09
For my Art event review i chose to spend Halloween evening watching the band Ravenface in Fleetwood near Blackpool.
The band are friends of mine and were happy for me to attend as a guest in order to review their gig.
I chose this event as the band play "gothic metal" and with it being halloween i was expecting scary stage costumes.
The band played for just over an hour opening with my favourite song "bleed a prayer"
This wasn't the first time i had seen the band live but i will it say it was my favourite show to date.
I was left a little disappointed that the band did not dress up for halloween but this was my only negative observation of the night as a whole.
I highly recommend watching live music and i can't wait till i can legally go to concerts and gigs on my own or with friends my age.
Seeing young musicians performing their art in a public place was inspiring and it is something i will pursue in the future.
